environmental --> tree huggger

for this assignment we had to get someone in their enviornment and shoot them. i chose steph because shes really hippie like. and i wanted to show that and make my point. the reason i put her in front of a tree was because i wanted her to seem very nature friendly, which was why i named this piece "tree hugger" . by having her arm in front of the the tree and her leg also it looks like shes trying to save it from someone knocking it down. thats how i think of 'hippies'.

test shot --> emotion in motion

my test shot happened on accident . i wasnt sure what it was i wanted to do. when i saw how the shots came out i really liked how it looked. i called it emotion in motion because it looks like everyone is going there own way but very still at the same time with only one person looking straight at the camera with a certain emotion. she looks very serious but in a way sad. i really liked how it ended up coming out as my test shot.

alter ego

this was my alter ego photo. my first one was my normal self which is just of me smiling and looking all girly with my phone out, everyone who knows me knows my phone is my life! my second photo was of me in my soccer uniform. i chose to do that because not everyone knows that i played soccer and that i even had a "sporty" side so i wanted to show that, the "girly girl" and the "sporty" version. if i was to do this project over again i would have most likely thought about it more because i think i could have either done it better or picked something else that may have worked better. other than than i was pretty happy with my outcome.

FiNAL

my final is really simple . my model was ericka as always(: i wanted her face to look really soft and i wanted her make-up to look really well done . i took away her flyaways and made her eyeliner and eyebrows darker . for my final i knew i wanted to use photoshop so i decided to incorporate it in with the make-up .

season picture

this is my season picture, which as you can see is spring . spring colors are fun colors to work with . my model was once again ericka, she wore a shirt that had a flowery pattern on it with the matching shoes . so i decided to put flowers in the backround of all spring colors and grasses down below .this one was fun to shoot because it was almost like a fashion shoot plus i got to mess with it afterwards . i wish i would have shot it on a black backround so the colors could really pop out .

extra credit .
i took a picture of a dandelion and just started messing with it . i came out with two products . and i really liked both . the first one i like because you can still see the plant but the backround looks really interesting . the second one i really like because it looks like every part is made out of neon lights and this happened by accident, and i loved how it came out .

maya angelou

for this one we had to use a maya angelou quote and take a picture for it . my model for this one was my sister PFC Barillas .she is in the Marine Corp, i picked my quote because of the fact that it started off with "women should be tough" and this picture goes perfect with that . the rest of the quote i think is just the way we should be ... happy people just live longer lives . i also wanted to incorporate the american flag into and am happy with the outcome of it .

for this project we had to take a picture and make a backround for it . it was pretty fun to mess with it i didnt want to exaggerate it so i made it very simple . i really liked the way it came out . if i was to do this again i wouldnt have her barefoot and take the chair out and either have her standing up or sitting on the ground .

OBAMA

one of our assignments was to get a picture of Obama and make it 40% ours . i had fun messing with this one . i like the filter i used because highlighted his face really nice. the reason i put "change is here" is because it is i beleive he's going to do a lot of good things. i made the words red white and blue to match the colors of our flag . i put a border around it because this is something i would frame pretty big part of history . i would like to do this again but with a picture i took of him . hopefully one day i can.

SELF PORTRAiT (:

this one was our self portrait . i had fun doing it because we got to use "photo booth" and we usually aren't allowed. when it came to messing it with photoshop i knew i didnt want to change my appearence much so the filter i used just highlighted my face and made it kind of fuzzy . now for the symbols i made them all bright colors so that they would pop out on the black backround the "A" is for my first name ( Alexis ) the hearts were put there because i liked how it looked xD no real reason for the skull ... but the number 17 was put there because my nephew was born on august 17 and he means the world to me. if i was to do this again i would probably put a lot more time and thought into it .

FASHiON !!!

this was the fashion shoot . i was so excited for this one because i knew i was going to be able to dress up one of my friends a model . so her look was based upon khloe kardashian because she had a trench coat that was very similar to my models . it was fun shooting with the strobe light and everything made it feel like a real fashion shoot . i liked doing fashion it was something new and its something that it forever changing . i do wish to do a fashion shoot again but in color.
